How much will the Trendsetter Homes franchise program cost me?
The estimated initial investment necessary to begin operations ranges from $273,540 to $949,040 per territory. This includes a $50,000 initial franchise fee for a single unit agreement. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund your business’ growth stages.
Is financing available?

We do not provide direct financing to franchise owners, but we may refer you to financing sources on a case-by-case basis.

Are there ongoing fees to pay?

We charge a royalty rate equal to 2.5% of gross revenues and a monthly technology fee. Royalties and fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services, training, and the continued development of programs and systems upgrades to guide you when you own a home construction franchise with Trendsetter Homes. What is provided as part of the Trendsetter Homes franchise program?

We are excited to provide an opportunity for homebuilders to effectively scale their businesses. We are thrilled to share our designs, our operating model, systems, processes, tools and industry knowledge with our franchise owners. With hands-on training from our founding team, you will learn the Trendsetter Homes way, so that you will be fully confident as you begin building your first Trendsetter Homes. You’ll start training virtually, then travel to our headquarters for 8 days of training. Then, a technology-support staffer for Trendsetter Homes will conduct 5 days of technology implementation and training on-site, at your location. In addition, you will have access to our exclusive confidential operations manual and other exclusive documentation and plans, to help you and your team operate your Trendsetter Homes franchise properly on a day-to-day basis and build your business to new levels.

Are there any advertising fees?

Trendsetter Homes franchise owners are required to spend the greater of $5,000 or 0.5% of gross revenues per month on ongoing local marketing efforts (this will start at a minimum of $2,500 per month until home closings begin for the franchised business). Franchise owners will also contribute $2,500 per month into the system marketing fund, until home closing revenues begin, thereafter currently at 0.5% of gross revenues. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies and materials designed to help promote the Trendsetter Homes brand.

What is the term of the agreement?

The initial term of your agreement is ten years, with two subsequent successor agreement options of five years.
